We are the students of 2C in Mrs Batham's class.
We are having lots of fun so far at school.
We have learnt about numbers. We have made a calendar for the month of February.
We have also been learning about the date.
This term we are learning about growing and changing in Science. We are very excited because we are learning about mealworms.
Last week we didn't know much about mealworms but now we know a bit more.
We know that mealworms have six legs.
We think they are an insect. They eat cereals like oats. They shed their skin. This is called moulting.
We can't wait to learn more about mealworms.
What do you like to learn about in Science?
My favorite is Zoology (Biology) because its all about animals, and everybody has a favorite animal :D
ReplyDeleteHi 2C!! This is Penelope's mummy and I think your blog is very cool! One day, Penelope arrived super early for school and she wanted to show me her mealworms -- but all I could see was oats! They were hiding. Maybe you could post a photo of a mealworm on your blog?
ReplyDeleteGreat Work 2C..... We are all very eager to see what new & exciting things you will be learning this year. This is a fantastic way for all Mum's & Dad's to get an idea of what your doing at school.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the picture -- that was quick!
ReplyDeleteGreat blog 2C! It is a really exciting way of finding out what you are doing at school. I know nothing about mealworms and I look forward to you telling me more about them!

ReplyDeleteHello 2C! I hope you all have a fun and interesting time learning about mealworms. I also hope none of the mealworms escape by hiding in your school bags or pockets!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, where did you get your mealworms? Did you dig them up from the garden -- or find them in the pantry??
ReplyDeleteMrs Batham bought the mealworms from the produce store. We hope none of them escape too. We really like our mealworms!
